Who we are
«Arbuz» is a Kyiv-based independent publishing house with its own full-cycle production facility.
We did not outsource printing — we built our own workshop and carefully selected every machine: high-precision offset, digital toner, large-format proofing systems, modern die-cutting, foil stamping, selective varnish, sewing and PUR binding lines.
Our team consists of people who have been working with books for 10–20 years and still get goosebumps when the first copy comes off the press.
We follow current ISO and G7 standards not because «it’s required», but because we ourselves want the colour on your cover to match exactly what you saw on the monitor.
What we create
We produce multi-page products of almost any complexity:
• hardcover books (sewn, PUR-glued, rounded spine, head & tail bands, ribbon marker, dust jacket or printed case)
• softcover (perfect bound, PUR, saddle-stitched, flaps)
• preprints / limited editions with numbered copies
• art-books and photo-albums with lay-flat binding
• children’s books with rounded corners, thick cardboard, spot UV, embossing
Full prepress preparation is done in-house with individual colour profiling for each edition.
Design of covers and layouts — only individual. We never use templates. Every spine width, every bleeds margin, every colour trap is calculated with the future printing and finishing process in mind.
