I’m comparing a few proxy providers and keep wondering how much speed should influence my decision. I once used a slower connection for a small project, and it was noticeably less convenient. At the same time, I don’t want to choose a service based only on speed. How important is proxy speed for you?

Speed is definitely worth checking, but it isn’t the only thing I consider. I had a project where the proxy was reasonably fast, yet the overall connection wasn’t very consistent, so the numbers didn’t tell the whole story. These days I look at speed alongside reliability, location availability, and the type of proxy. If everything else fits my needs, I’m happy with a moderate speed rather than paying extra just for the fastest option. It really depends on what you’re using the proxy for.

I noticed the difference in speed when I was testing several locations for a project. A connection that looked fine during a quick test could feel different after longer use, so I started checking more than just the advertised performance. While comparing options, I also looked at new zealand proxy services to see how location affected the experience. For me, speed matters most when the task involves frequent requests or time-sensitive work. I’d rather have a stable connection with predictable performance. I usually compare speed, reliability, location, and pricing together instead of letting one number decide everything.
